Abstract

The latent heat of **3He has been measured along the melting curve from 20 mK to 1 mK. This establishes a thermodynamic temperature scale in units of the A-transition temperature. T//A is found to be 2. 75 plus or minus 0. 14 mK using liquid specific heat data.
