Abstract

The latent heat of He3 has been measured along the melting curve from 23 to 1 mK. With these results an absolute temperature scale is established which depends only on measurements of heat, volume, and pressure and the assumption that the entropy of solid He3 approaches Rln2 at high temperatures.
