Abstract
This paper provides an overview of some current applications, manufacturing methods, and physical properties of thin fiber reinforced cement board products currently produced. Many of these products offer a new and unique alternative to certain construction materials such as wood, metal, or masonry in applications such as cladding, roofing, soffits, and siding, among many other construction applications.
