To the Editor: The recent paper by Tong et al. entitled “Failure of Transfer-Factor Therapy in Chronic Active Type B Hepatitis” (N Engl J Med 295:209-211, 1976), which describes the failure of a single patient with inactive disease to respond to transfer factor, is of interest.
