Abstract
This chapter presents a series of case studies with multiple choice questions and answers on transformed lymphomas (TLs). It discusses the risk factors for transformation in a patient with follicular lymphoma (FL) grade 1-2. The chapter also discusses the chance of histological transformation to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), the molecular or genetic events that underlie the process of transformation, and the uses of positron emission tomography (PET) scan. It tabulates the results of studies of autologous and allogeneic transplantation in TLs, and also the results of studies with newer agents that have included TLs.
