Abstract

Truncal nerve blockade in children has been increasing in popularity for intra- and postoperative pain relief. Moreover, the use of ultrasound guidance for these blocks has greatly improved success rates. This article discusses the classic and ultrasound guided approaches for the commonly performed truncal blocks in children.
