Tunable pulsed fiber-optic parametric oscillator

Abstract

We demonstrate a tunable optical parametric oscillator that derives gain from a nonlinear fiber Sagnac interferometer pumped by 7.7-ps pulses at 1539 nm. We report a 74-nm-wide tuning range centered on the pump wavelength.
