Abstract

We present model calculations of the effects of disorder on the ab-plane tunneling conductance in d-wave superconductors. Surface disorder is included by a layer of non-magnetic impurities and by a nano-faceted surface. The surface model is put to a test by performing a fit to conductance measurements on Pr-doped YBCO.
