Abstract

The Minority Engineering Apprenticeship Program (MEAP) was designed with the goal of retaining underrepresented minority Engineering students, with the ultimate goal of inspiring these students to pursue a graduate degree in Engineering. The program matches students and faculty based on major, and/or interest. As part of the College of Engineering's Minority Engineering Program, MEAP is viewed as a vital tool for helping students.
