Abstract
Children with Down syndrome (DS) show a remarkable predisposition to develop acute megakaryocytic leukemia. In this issue of Blood, Ge and colleagues identify a set of genes that are differentially expressed inDSversus non-DS megakaryocytic leukemias. These findings may help explain many of the unique features of DS malignancies.
