Abstract
A method for electrophoretic separation in a vertical column packed with Sephadex G-200 superfine media is described. Collection of electrophoretically separated components is accomplished by converting the column to an eluting system after electrophoresis. The method has been used successfully to isolate human galactose-1-phosphate uridyltransferase. The application of a human serum sample was used to demonstrate the fractionation potential of the method.
