Abstract

The relaxation of CH3F isolated in mixed Kr/Xe matrices has been studied as a function of composition and temperature. For a specific composition reversible changes in relaxation rate are observed as a function of duration of irradiation. It is concluded that changes in rate result from a change in the molecule-cage environment.
