Abstract
The situation of viscous flow past a split plate is treated within the framework of the Oseen equations. The problem is reduced to an integral equation defined on disjoint intervals. The solution of the integral equation is determined asymptotically for slow flow. The drag force is calculated and compared with certain single plate results.
