Abstract

The fictional “Minions” from film are single-focused workers, useful for accomplishing a specific task en masse. Here, minion-like bacteria is presented as a useful intermediary craftsman for functionalizing biomaterials, enabling a generic process for integrating desired chemical additives and/or nanoparticles.
